Entropy is a dramatic thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The movie stars Curt Martin as a successful writer, Jake Walsh, who is struggling with writer's block following the death of his wife. Jake is dealing with intense grief and is finding it difficult to focus on his work. Things start to change for Jake when he meets a young woman named Kate, played by Lauren Maher. Kate is a free spirit who is full of life and energy, and she's just the person Jake needs to help him get out of his mental funk. The two quickly develop a strong bond, and Jake is able to find his creative spark once again.

As the movie progresses, we see Jake and Kate navigate their complicated relationship. Jake is still mourning the death of his wife, and he's not sure if he's ready to move on. At the same time, Kate is dealing with her own demons, and the two start to realize that they may not be good for each other in the long run.

However, their relationship takes a backseat when strange things start to happen. Jake begins receiving mysterious packages in the mail, and he starts to suspect that someone may be watching him. He eventually discovers that his house has been bugged, and he's being watched by a mysterious organization.

As he delves deeper into the mystery, Jake realizes that the organization is actually a group of scientists who are conducting cutting-edge experiments on human consciousness. They've been watching Jake because they believe he has the ability to access a deeper level of consciousness that they're interested in studying.

From here, the movie takes on a whole new level of intensity. The scientists start to manipulate Jake's mind in various ways, and he's not sure who he can trust. He starts to experience vivid hallucinations and finds it harder and harder to distinguish reality from fiction.

Joshua T. McGowen plays Dr. Owen, the head of the research group. It's clear that Owen is not interested in Jake's well-being, but rather is only concerned with his own scientific advancements. As things start to spiral out of control, Jake must figure out a way to escape the clutches of the group before it's too late.

The movie is beautifully shot, with a hauntingly atmospheric score that perfectly captures the sense of foreboding that permeates the entire film. Martin's performance as Jake is nuanced and powerful, and he perfectly conveys the character's sense of confusion and desperation.

Overall, Entropy is a gripping, intense thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The story is well-crafted and the performances are excellent. It's a movie that explores the limits of human consciousness and the lengths that people will go to in order to achieve scientific advancement.
