E is a Tamil film. It was released in 2006. The film was directed by S.P. Jananathan. The film centers around an orphan, Easwaran, who was raised by an old woman who lived in the slumps of Chennai. Easwaran goes by E. To E, money is everything in life. He meets a bar dancer, Jothy, that he wishes to attract. When Jothy learns about E's past, she wishes to change his ways and set him on the straight path. Although E is attracted to Jothy, someone else comes into the picture and things begin to get a little bit complicated.
