Drawing Restraint 9 is a Japanese fantasy film that stars writer and director Matthew Barney as the main character who is on a search for inner peace by using resistance. The film also stars Icelandic pop star Bjork who joins Barney on a whaling vessel to help with his quest. The two take in a formal tea time with the captain then participate in formal ancient rituals inspired by Shinto. The two go through a magical transformation together captured on film.
