Doctor Hackenstein is a 1988 comedy-horror film. It's a parody of the well-trod genre of mad scientists and heathen abominations cobbled up in their laboratories. Dr. Elliot Hackenstein is on a scientific quest to put his late wife back together. In pursuit of this, he slaughters nearby townfolk for their raw organic body matter. Several young ladies become stranded nearby and choose to stay at the doctor's castle (complete with obligatory thunderstorm). Wacky hijinks ensue as the mad doctor pursues the ladies for their limbs while the ladies run around trying to escape.
