Watch Dehadaka Duka

Dehadaka Duka is a musical about the beginnings of love and courtship. We meet a beautiful women dancing in the forest and she happens stumble upon a man swimming in the river. They immediately become taken with one another and engage in a whimsical duet about their feelings for one another. The story continues throughout their relationship with the help of Sinhala Music. Also involved is a mother-like figure who surveys the man's pursuit of the young woman's love. Music plays a key role in understanding the emotion involved with the budding romance and what the couple goes through.
