Chander Pahar, also called Mountains of the Moon, is a dramatic fantasy film. It tells the story of a young boy who doesn't see a bright future in his poverty-stricken village. He sets out for a place in rural Bengal known as Mountain of the Moon, where there is believed to be diamonds and gold.
