This video brings together two former editors of Christianity Today magazine in a four part presentation held at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School as part of the Christian Thought Lecture Series in 1991 --- American Evangelicalism Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. (Originally released on video under the title: Know Your Roots.) They also served as Co-chairs of the 1989 Evangelical Affirmations Conference sponsored by the National Association of Evangelicals. Henry and Kantzer look at the resurgence of Evangelicalism in the 1940's and the major turning points in mid-century, as well as its prospects and perils for the future.
