The Rhine-Danube Canal is a long, navigable river stream that starts out in Germany and runs all the way throughout Europe. Every year, philanthropist Burt Wolf, spends about 4 months hosting shows, about this river, which feature cruise trips to stops along the river and fun facts about the history of the canal. Wolf also has a cruise company that he uses to raise funds for the Public Broadcast System. In this segment, the show will go over the history of the Rhine basins and the areas that surround it.
