Buddy Thunderstruck is an animated television show that was initially released on Netflix in 2017. Created by American Greetings Entertainment, it was directed by Ryan Wiesbrock and produced by Stoopid Buddy Studios. The show centers around the life of a truck-racing dog named Buddy Thunderstruck, who lives in the small, truck-racing town of Greasepit. Buddy loves racing, and he is known for his unrivaled speed and his willingness to do anything to win.
In the movie Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile, Buddy is faced with a challenge that he has never encountered before. The town of Greasepit is about to celebrate its 100th anniversary, and the citizens are planning a huge party to commemorate the occasion. As part of the celebration, they have decided to create a time capsule that will be buried in the town square for future generations to discover. The time capsule will contain all sorts of artifacts and memorabilia that represent the town's history.
Buddy is excited to be part of the time capsule project, but he quickly realizes that it is not going to be easy. The citizens of Greasepit are all trying to get their items included in the time capsule, and there is only so much space available. Buddy decides to create his own entry for the time capsule, something that will truly represent him and his love for racing. He comes up with the idea of creating a special engine part that will make any truck go faster than ever before.
Buddy sets to work on his project, but he quickly runs into a problem. He cannot seem to get the engine part to work, no matter how hard he tries. As time goes on, Buddy becomes more and more frustrated, and he starts to worry that he will not be able to come up with anything to put in the time capsule. However, he refuses to give up, and he keeps trying different things until he finally gets the engine part to work!
With his entry complete, Buddy is excited to see what else the citizens of Greasepit have put in the time capsule. When the time capsule is finally buried in the town square, Buddy and his friends gather around to watch. Each person takes a turn placing their item in the time capsule, and Buddy is proud to add his special engine part. However, just as the last item is about to be placed in the time capsule, disaster strikes!
As the final item is being lowered into the time capsule, something goes wrong, and the whole thing falls apart! The citizens of Greasepit are devastated, and they quickly realize that all of their precious items have been scattered all over town. Buddy and his friends immediately jump into action to try and retrieve everything that was in the time capsule, but it seems like an impossible task.
Despite the odds, Buddy refuses to give up. He knows that he can retrieve all of the lost items if he just keeps trying. With the help of his friends and his trusty racing truck, Buddy sets out to search for all of the items that were lost in the disaster. As they drive around town, they encounter all sorts of challenges and obstacles, but Buddy is determined to get everything back, no matter what.
In the end, Buddy and his friends are able to recover all of the lost items, much to the relief of the citizens of Greasepit. The town's 100th-anniversary celebration is a huge success, with the recovered items being displayed for all to see. Buddy is proud to have been a part of the celebration and is especially proud of his engine part that he was able to include in the time capsule.
