"Born in the USSR: 21 Up" is a 75 minute long documentary from 2005. The film checks in on the lives of several Russian children every seven years in order to note the personal changes that have developed in response to social and political ones. This film introduces the audience to the children at the ages of 7, 14, and 21; examining personal reflections on life during the reign, and during the subsequent collapse, of a Communist government.

"Born in the USSR: 21 Up" is part of a film series, with the next part covering the children at age 28.
