Watch Birthday

The film is set in a rural midwestern junior high school. It follows Donald, a formerly conjoined twin whose other twin, Ralph, died during a surgery to separate them both. Donald spends most of his time after the surgery acting as though Ralph is still with him, and has elaborate conversations with Ralph where other listeners can only hear Donald speaking. His parents are worried about how he will perform in school. Donald has trouble in class due to talking to himself. One day his parents watch Donald sleeping and hear him talking in his sleep. They hear Ralph's voice.
