Bhalevadivi Basu is a 2001 Indian drama. Its plot involves a forest ranger named Sagar. It develops that this is a false identity being used by a man named Prabhu. The real Sagar is dead. The fake Sagar, however, is a good man who fights to keep poachers from the forest and looks out for the local people. He also looks out for the wife and mother of the real Sagar. All goes well until poachers threaten Sagar and the way of life of the forest people.
