				                This 2001 supernatural fantasy thriller was written and directed by Jean-Paul Salomé and stars Sophie Marceau. The plot of the film follows Glenda Spencer, a famed historical expert in ancient Egyptian. Abruptly, Spencer's studies are interrupted when she is summoned to the world renowned Musée du Louvre to diagnose a very strange set of circumstances. When she arrives the electrical outlets are all going haywire and a strange chill is in the air; something sinister is afoot. The curator tells Spencer that the strange events began occurring after they opened one of the newest additions to the collection, a coffin that the Egyptologist knows to contain the diabolical spirit of the demon, Balphegor.
