This is a documentary on the cotton industry in India, and how Monsanto came to dominate it. Monsanto is said to have illegally introduced a seed to Indian cotton farmers that sterilized local varieties. Monsanto then allegedly gained a total monopoly on Indian cotton production with the genetically modified seeds. The film relates how Indian cotton farmers were devastated by Monsanto and how they're now returning to organic cotton seeds and plants. Its message is directed at global consumers and is expectedly anti-Monsanto.
