Beautiful Sunday is a film about two men who have conducted themselves unethically. Detective Kang is dealing with the after effects of his wife being in a serious accident where she is left in a coma. He has been committing disreputable actions in an effort to pay the medical bills for his wife. A law student named Min-woo has also been acting unfavorably and coerces a woman he has obsessed over to marry him, she is unaware that Min-woo has previously wronged her. Identities are called into question as information unravels and the similarities between the two men come to a head.
