Watch Barry Casson's The Search - Search & Rescue Adventure

THE SEARCH gives a strong positive message to young people regarding their safety decisions when enjoying the great outdoors. As With Casson's previous successful wilderness safety film LOST IN THE WOODS, the survival tips offered in The Search could well save lives. The story shows us what can go wrong when a young asthmatic boy and his dog out for an afternoon of exploring an old growth forest take nature for granted resulting in both getting swept down a fast moving mountain river. In a desperate attempt to retrieve the boy from the raging rapids his older brother almost joins the mishap. The pair are rescued safely but not before having to survive a bitter cold night in the wilderness. The Search has some great white water action sequences and provides the audience with inside information on how search and rescue groups go about their jobs.
