Watch Around the Pink House

Around the Pink House explores modernization in Beirut after the Civil War. The Pink House is an old mansion inhabited by the Nawfal family, who sought shelter there during the war. However, the scenery around the mansion is rapidly changing as all the old, historic homes are being torn down in favor of new construction. When the owner of the pink house decides to sell the mansion to make room for a shopping center, the residents of the neighborhood become divided between embracing modernization and supporting the families being evicted.
