On Santa Clara Island just off of the California coast, there have been reports of bodies washing up on shore. The mayor, eager to protect the town's bustling tourism business, has kept the attacks hidden, but once they start up again, it is harder for him to do so. Can an environmental scientist named Vanessa figure out where these vicious sea creatures are coming from and how to stop them from attacking any more unsuspecting people?
