An Afternoon with Mr. Jefferson is a unique look at the outside homes and grounds of Thomas Jefferson. (We also take a brief look at Poplar Forest in this video). Set on a recent trip we made to the home, in November of 2012, we filmed the outside gardens and the exterior architecture and set it against the richly-narrated quotes of his life from letters and other reliable sources as if he is speaking directly to you, the viewer. It is as if he has invited you up to the home to walk the yard and gardens with him on a lovely Fall afternoon. Suitable for all ages, non-political, and sized exactly right for showing to a classroom in a hour's time (32 minutes), this video is the perfect introduction to the life of one of our greatest founding father presidents; Thomas Jefferson.
