Back on the Gretta Marie they sail the Torres Straights exploring the deserted islands. Sam becomes a windsurfer. Back on land they travel through flower covered fields after good rains. They visit the Wave Hill Bush Bar and help fight a bushfire. Alby hitches a ride on a road train to the Birdsville Races in the desert where he takes part.
