Efisio assassinated a man for disrespecting another family's honor. When Efisio was to be transported to Sardinia, he was murdered. Now the other assassinations are accredited to him even after he is dead. The mob is after his surviving wife and unborn child for Efisio's wrong doings. Now she must evade the mob and prove her late husband's innocence.
