Watch A Place of One's Own

A Taiwanese comedy musical with two story lines. A small time rocker dies after writing a song for his rock singer girlfriend, never delivering it. She hits it big in the rock and roll scene. She writes memorial songs to her late boyfriend. A rich origami art master builds a huge origami villa. He loses, first his riches and then his life. His widow is a tomb sweeper, visiting the ancestral graves and maintaining them. An ancestor whispers the location of hidden loot. She obtains it, then on impulse suddenly gives it all away. These two stories twist together into a chain reaction.
