Subtitled "A Major Minor Dilemna," this short was designed to educate retailers (especially convenience-store staff) who might be fined, lose their alcohol license or even be sent to jail if caught selling booze to the under-aged. We see various ruses the young use to try scoring some sauce, from fake IDs to "old-looking" disguises. Anyone who ever suffered the evil eye from salespersons under such circumstances will appreciate the narrator's advice: "In refusal, always be courteous. Never embarrass needlessly." After all, today's attempted teenage purchaser of a six-pack ($1.75!) might be tomorrow's loyal, legal customer. - Dennis Harvey
