93 Days is a 2016 Nigerian drama-thriller directed by Steve Gukas. The movie tells the true story of the Ebola outbreak in Nigeria in 2014 and how the country's medical community fought to contain the disease. The movie opens with a man entering Nigeria on board a flight from Liberia. Unbeknownst to him and the Nigerian authorities, he is carrying the Ebola virus. Shortly after arriving in Lagos, he falls ill and is admitted to First Consultant Medical Centre, a private hospital in the city.

The hospital staff mistakenly diagnoses him with malaria and start treating him accordingly. However, he eventually dies, and it is only after his death that the staff discovers that he had Ebola.

As news of his diagnosis spreads, panic sets in among the hospital staff and the general public. The Nigerian government, led by Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh, played by Bimbo Akintola, moves quickly to contain the disease and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the country.

Dr. Adadevoh, a senior consultant physician, makes the difficult decision to quarantine the hospital and its staff, including herself, in order to prevent the disease from spreading. This decision is met with resistance and skepticism from some of the hospital staff, who fear for their lives and the lives of their families.

The government sets up an Emergency Operations Centre, led by Dr. Faisal Shuaib, played by Seun Ajayi, to oversee the containment efforts. Dr. Shuaib works tirelessly to coordinate the efforts of various government agencies, the international community, and the media.

The movie also highlights the sacrifices made by the medical personnel at First Consultant Medical Centre, who put their lives on the line to care for patients with Ebola. Dr. Morris Ibeawuchi, played by Paul Adams, is one such doctor; he contracts the disease while treating patients but ultimately survives.

The movie does an excellent job of portraying the fear and uncertainty that gripped Nigeria during the Ebola outbreak. It shows how the government, medical community, and the general public worked together to overcome the disease.

The acting in the movie is superb, with Bimbo Akintola, Seun Ajayi, and Paul Adams delivering standout performances. The movie's direction is also top-notch, with Steve Gukas balancing the tension and drama with moments of hope and inspiration.

One of the movie's strengths is that it stays true to the facts of what occurred during the Ebola outbreak. The movie accurately depicts the efforts of the Nigerian government, medical community, and the international community in containing the disease.

Overall, 93 Days is a must-watch movie that educates and inspires. It is a testament to the courage and resilience of the Nigerian people and the human spirit.
