After General Flavius Aëtius frees the Roman Empire from the clutches of Attila the Hun, Rome is once again secure. However, this assurance is short-lived, as the growing power of General Flavius becomes a threat to the Senate and the Emperor of Rome, hence Flavius becomes a victim of assassination by the political hierarchy. This sets the Empire for the next two decades of intense corruption and turmoil, and brings Rome to its inevitable demise.
