002 Operazione Luna is an Italian comedy from 1965. After a Russian space shuttle is lost in a mission among the stars, along with its crew of a pair of cosmonauts, the KGB kidnaps a pair of criminals who closely resemble the stranded cosmonauts. The KGB plans to covertly launch a secondary mission, with the abducted criminals posing as their distinguished lookalikes in order to emphasize the brilliance and greatness of Russia's space program. Unfortunately for the KGB, the legitimate cosmonauts manage to find a way back to Earth, resulting in even more comedic hijinks and cases of mistaken identity.
